Philips AED now installed in the OVMH Gym. Info to Follow
Sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) is a leading cause of death in the United States. More than 350,000 cardiac arrests occur outside of the hospital each year. Twelve percent of those victims survive. SCA can happen to anyone at any time. Early defibrilation can increase survival. Philips AED for adult and pediatric use has been installed in the gym. Healthy aging may yield 3x economic, healthcare benefit
Every dollar invested annually in healthy aging interventions could produce triple that amount in economic and healthcare benefits across the United States, according to a report published today by the McKinsey Health Institute.
